I think you can get your cruise ecu fixed pretty easily thru a company called module masters. Cause even if this vacuum pump fixes this for now. Your cruise ecu has poor chances of surviving for long. There’s 2 big drivers in it. One runs the pump and the other closes the vent. Those always burn up.
I think it’s probably best to retrofit a Disco2 system. Those seem more robust.

What's involved with the D2 system? My cruise has never worked, The vacuum lines were gone and the pump was missing. I'm assuming there's more wrong with the system I just wanted to have everything in position. I would not be against upgrading the system to something better.

I would be surprised if just the pump fixes it. The cruise ecu has to run the pump and close the vent. It usually can't. Sometimes people assume it's ok because it runs the pump, but if it won't close the normally open vent the pump can run all it wan'ts and it will nevr open your throttle. Then it's easy enough to diagnose the drivers in that cruise module because it will look like someone put a cigar out on them.

You can find a couple really good write ups on retrofitting the Disco2 cruise system. On here or just google the shit.

Oh wow, thanks for the info. Yeah, last night I had everything on the system working from the plug. Pump runs, holds vacuum, brake pedal releases the system, Proper voltage from the Accel/Decelerate buttons at the connector and the VSS is working as well. Everything works but the module, Wiring and buttons are perfect. I took the module apart and I do see a couple little questionable solder's. I'm going to just touch up those connections for the fun of it and if it doesn't work I will be going the D2 route. Thanks guys.
