Skid plate and winch installed.

A planetary winch would fit a NAS vehicle much better

Had to relocate the trans cooler and extend the lines.
Swap horns from side to side for relocated cooler clearance
Had to modify the AC drier bracket so that it moved back about 1/4”
Move lower hood latch brace hole back 1/2”
Theres also a section of sheetmetal below the grill that has a lip, lip needs to be folded flat for the gearbox clearance. On the CT trucks it looks like they bashed it out of the way during the install.

Probably know this and very late to the party but the Fall 2018 A+G issue features Swett’s CT Disco. I’m guessing Marcello would have lots of high res pics.

I like that Camel Trophy Tribute bumper. On the website I didn't see it for sale. They have a lot of stuff for the Disco2 like other bumpers and some sliders. Some of that stuff looks pretty cool. The Racks I don't like so much. They have lots of bolts that you know will look like shit in a year.

I think most of the bumpers made for these trucks are too damn heavy. The winch alone needs to be compensated for in the suspension being all the way out front like that. Then add 300lbs of bumper and everything has to be re engineered. I think the lighter the lighter the truck and the lighter the spring to hold it up where you want it is best. I think if you didn't have the extra 600 lbs hanging off the front of the truck you might not have needed the winch in the first place.
At least that's the thinking on the truck I'm building now. I'm going to go spend the weekend with that thing, I know it won't give me covid.

Skid plate done. Spent an hour or so torch annealing the areas of the bend line of the 3/8” 6061-t6. Seems to have worked.

That's a bit more than $300.

It looks suspiciously like the CAD file I created, thats all I was saying. Wouldn't be the first time someone claimed rover stuff I've uploaded as their own.

its been modified for a non husky winch, and the skid plate backing plate is their own design.

How do they keep the stock bumper ends and attach them to the winch tray?

They don't attach to the winch tray, just the frame. You cut the middle part out, the winch tray sandwiches them.

They are kind of tied in to the winch tray and brush guard with the dixon bate mounts, but that's it.

I contacted Hyena over the week end. As of right now no ship to US. But they said they are looking at Feb, possibly shipping over a batch of them and to stay in contact.
