My D-1 radio quit working today. I think the Beastie Boys might have done it in. The radio is still turning on and has power but no sound coming out of the speakers. Not even a hiss or pop. I pulled it out and checked the connections and found no issues. I would love to keep the classic radio. Can anyone recommend a place to send it to be repaired or a good place to find a replacement? Thank you in advance for your help.

Check the amp fuse. Under drivers seat for LSE, passenger seat for 94/95, or passenger kick panel for the rest.

also make sure no one messed with the dash volume buttons.

Check the amp for power it is located in the passenger kick panel it is possible for them to get wet if you have a leak around the windshield could just be the amp and not the radio.

No CD Player but I will definitely check the amp fuse. I had no idea my D-1 had a power amp. I am not surprised the stereo sounds great when it works.
