It's mostly the ignorant bastards posting Non-Tech in the tech threads...It's the cheap truck crowd that kills me.

I know once upon a time I was a poor college student that couldn't afford a set of springs for my truck but, I was not coddled like some of the morons around here are these days. I was set straight and learned to keep my mouth shut unless I knew what I was talking about and when I abused the board, I was banned for 2 weeks because I couldn't keep my mouth shut. I learned to keep my mouth shut quick.

It seems some can't weed out the legit Land Rover providers from the scabs looking to make a buck pushing their latest and greatest horseshit bonnet can opener or their new aluminum bumperettes...

This is a tightknit group where we look after those who are looking out for the community: I think seventyfive is just trying to look out for Dweb.

My total and absolute disgust is seeing a group of enthusiasts being divided. this forum is just that. dweb has become nothing less than a soap box platform for gun rights and personal vendettas.

i know there isn't much left to discuss about these 12 year old vehicles, but without progression we are left with regression. if i wanted to hear people spout off about guns rights i would hang out with extremist skin heads, especially when it comes to gun sights.

Get ahold of yourself. Oh no, the General section has threads about guns and whatnot. Who gives a shit? This isn't Russia, Danny. No one is forcing you to read those threads. If you don't want to talk about guns then don't read them. If a Tech post isnt techy enough for you then call it out. But PLEASE stop whining and sniveling every chance you get about how sucky this forum is.

You're asking Ho and Axel to basically moderate and filter posters and threads? Doesn't that go against one of Dweb's biggest draws, which is that its self moderating and content isnt filtered?

Even though these pos trucks are cheap, parts and maintenance still thinks it is a $50k+ truck...

I don't go to rover fests. I have no desire to drive around in a line on dirt roads going 3.8 mph whilst loading my roof rack with 6 shovels, a sand ladder and 27 lights.... At both tx rover rally's we never saw another rover on any trail we were on. Not even the big dogs with built trucks. We did see Buggys and some tube ish jeeps... Too much whine and cheesers.

And then I get personally attacked because I swapped in toy axles and housings that out perform anything you can put in a rover? And Linked it so it works well? Wtf is that about.
