Have a question about installing new 3"RTE coils with 1" rear spacers with an a-arm extension. RTE says on their website that it will work for 3" lifts. The reason I have the extension, because I am going down from an old/tired 5"RTE coils to 3"RTE coils. My setup included everything that was needed for a 5" lift. It looks like the arms are sitting too high under the truck due to the lower coils. But I don't remember how they looked when I had the 5" coils.

Should I keep it in or remove it. I know If I remove it, it will bring my tires more forward and then I might have to shorten my training arm.
Could that also cause the rear to bounce really bad going through dips and over bumps. Or is that a shock issue. Thank you.

Keep the A-Arm extension. I have the RTE 3" springs and 1" taller rear spring perches and I have it, need it, would not remove it. It doesn't have any effect on the position of your rear wheels. Removing it would affect your pinion angle. You need your pinion/driveshaft to be as close to inline as possible to avoid vibration. The trailing arms and spacers (if any) that were used affect the position of the rear wheels.

If your truck bounces that is because of shocks, nothing else.

Call me if you have more questions. Phone number is on my website here: https://www.azlro.org/chad/parts.html

Keep it. I have a 3 inch lift and found I needed it for the above reasons. I have adjustable trailing arms for the rear wheel in the wheel well issue and that really helped. Check your lower spring perches or the bump stop pad to see if they are level, they should be close. That will get worse without the extension.
