D1 aftermarket bumpers fit D2? D2 on D1?

Good afternoon,

I have heard D1 aftermarket bumpers fit D2 trucks. Will D2 aftermarket bumpers fit D1?

Anyone have any direct knowledge on this subject?

Yes, they fit. You can even swap the OE bumpers between D2 and D1 without much hassle. RRC bumpers fit too.

Don't expect the fit to be cosmetically perfect if you're using a bumper from something that doesn't belong. I don't need to explain the obvious cosmetic differences with grille and front fascia shape among the various trucks, but nothing is a show-stopper.

I can say that the Tactical Rovers bumper is the same for D1 and D2, but I cant say every manufacturer made theirs compatible with both D1 and D2.



That said, this is a D2 brush guard on a D1... This guy destroyed that truck. took the doors off and painted everything underneath orange!! It was truly the ugliest Rover Ive ever seen.

if you say so. The frame ends are the same from D1 to D2. There is no reason why it would misalign this badly. My front bumper is a D1 Equipe and it is just fine on my D2. but....who the hell cares! That D2 you posted is ugly as shit! haha
