D1 ARB Front Bumper - SRS vs non-SRS

All,

I know the community generally has issues with the overall strength of the ARB bumper for the D1s. Many crediting crumbled fenders as such. However when searching I found srs and non-srs versions of the D1 bumper. I ASSUMED the only difference was one came with crush can mounts and the non-srs does not. Can anyone confirm if this is the only difference?

Additionally, could some of the ARBs reputation on the D1 be due to the crush cans which cause the displacement and therefore "weakness" of the wings?

Non-ABS version on mine. Wing folded in after a decent impact while offroading. I suspect an RTE, or similar, would have shrugged off the hit.

Thanks for the response. That's so disappointing to hear especially since they're so attractive. Are there any different options beside RTE? I dont really care for their full face option and the blade style looks pretty good but doesnt offer a lot of protection to the front end as it's more focused on clearance.

FYI nothing against RTE as they make some great stuff and I may go with them anyway.
