For me it was the pulley. I applied a belt dressing spray and the sound went away. I have been doing this for several years without any negative issues.

Tensioner bushing worn out. I tried the belt conditioner and the noise went went away for a short period of time. I replaced the tensioner assembly and all is quiet.

If you spray the conditioner (I’ve actually sprayed a little lubricant) on and it goes away but comes back, it’s likely the tensioner slightly out of alignment due to the worn bushing.

Yup, I'd bet on tensioner pulley. Mine is also on the way out. I spray a bit of silicone lubricant to the bearing assembly when it starts chirping and the chirp goes away. I have a new Dayco belt tensioner waiting to be installed, but it's a fair bit down my "must do" list at the moment.

If you need a new one, this place has great prices and very reasonable shipping.

Is it the pulley or the tensioner assembly ?

It's the bearing in the pulley - you can get one at NAPA - pretty standard. Press the old one out and the new one in and you are good to go. I had to do this on mine as well - was yelling at me every time I started the car...

My latest one was the power steering pump. Have done the bearing in the tensioner pulley in the past. Have had the alternator bearing or bushing be it before, but that was a non-LR vehicle.

I thought my chirp was the bearing, I replaced the bearing and nothing changed. The bushing I am referencing is in the spring / tensioner assembly. Due to the pressure on the assembly over time the bushing flattens on one side and the pully is then slightly out of alignment causing the belt to very slightly slip sideways, causing the chirp sound. It’s very hard visually to see if not impossible.

if you want to be sure it is completely resolved buy the whole tensioner assembly. It’s cheap to swap in a new bearing alone and for $5 it isn’t a bad idea but it very well may not be the problem.

if belt dressing temporarily quiets it, it’s not the bearing in the pulley, it’s likely the bushing in the tensioner assembly.
