I’m trying to determine if this is a D1 or D2 brush guard. Anyone know, Second pic shows the attachment point a little better maybe.
also anyone know what the original OEM finish / color code would have been?

I think it may be a D1. On my D2 the mesh inserts over the lights were removable (or not due to rust) but these do not appear removable

I had one for a D2 but the mesh wire over the lights was of a slightly different design. It should fit onto both D1 and D2.

STC8454AA is the D1 bar and has removable lens covers. That one might be aftermarket

It’s not from a RRC for sure, that design is different. I do agree, it’s not the 1997 STC8454AA either. That has 3 bars across the lights, mine had 4. And it doesn’t have the flat plate above the license. So it’s either aftermarket (but it was pulled from a D1 that also had original rear light guards, at least what I think was original) or a different model year perhaps?? Did the D1 brush guard have different model years?

Anyone who has an OME D1 brush guard, can you please tell me the distance between the mounting points? Mine is 24”, but the brackets I just installed (which I thought would adapt the guard I have to my D1) are 27” apart

Mine is bolted to the inside of the frame rails, which are roughly 25” apart

I believe it is a D2 but for a 99 model. I have an 04 D2 and have that same brush

It looks like a D2 but a 99 model. I have an 04 D2 and have this same brush guard but I had to extend/modify the mounting bracket to make the bar set out further away from the bumper.

yeah I’d need to do the same. The brackets are too far recessed in and too wide apart. I’d need to make an adapter for each side.
