Guys, could some of you with D2s and the front bumper mod where you cut the bumper just over the fog lights, post some pics of their Disco??

And also, how did you deal with the inside of the fender ???? do you cut it also, if so where and what does it look like???

Thanks,

Steph.

thank you very much. Do you know if it causes a buffeting sound, as the air goes under the truck???

AT THE PUB
step 1. Remove factory Brush guard & bumper (sorry ol' chaps)
Step 2. Trash it.
Step 3. replace wash bottle w/ D-110 bottle kit (moves it behind
battery box )
Step 4. Call Steve or Seth At R.T.E in Va. and drop some loot on the real deal bumper......AL

Details and pics if you can.

Yeah, X2!

I just put on a used RTE front bumper and part of the package was the washer bottle relocation kit. The problem is that I have secondary air and now there is no place for it to go. Currently it is secured via zip ties to the coolant bottle and I am not happy with that.

Any aftermarket light company makes a FOG light that will connect directly in my stock plug-ins. I got the OEM A bar with no fog lights. By cutting the bumper, I'll lose the one I have in the front spoiler. So I'd like to install round fogs on the A bar, using the existing wiring.

Steph,

That's easy. I mounted two Hella 500s on my factory front bumper. Just drilled two holes and secured them. The factory fog light wiring will support the Hellas since they are only 55 watt bulbs in stock form and the factory wiring is already on a relay.

So, mount the lights (55w bulbs only) and connect them to the factory wires.

PM me if you need to.

Here's a pic of my trimmed bumper with a set of Jate rings for recovery points.

I added a set of the Hella Black Magics(55s) and taped them into the factory wiring.

To bad those balck majic aren't fog lights. They're nice. Aren't the Hella 500s a little small for the Disco. I mean do they fit well, or look too small to blend in with the size of the Disco???

So you guys just connect the wires together. there's no plug-in. Just splice and join, and shrink tube and so on..... Right???

Any pictures of the front of your truck with the 500s on ??? I got the A- bar and have the feeling that huge lights should be mounted on it.

So pictures would be appreciated.
