Again U Joints Need To Be Replaced..IN FACT IF YOU OWN A D2 AND DO NOT HAVE SERVICEABLE U JOINTS YOU should have it done immediately.
I have sold 8 650.00 plus transmissions and 6 450.00 y pipe assemblys due to busted DRIVESHAFTS SO 40.00? OR POSSIBLY 1200.00 IN PARTS AND SHIPPING AND ADD ON TOP OF THAT LABOR?

M drive shaft went on my D2 at 33K and was replaced under warranty. Now its got 47K on it and I am sure it is the unservicable style. What is the fix, is it OEM backed, this is the first I have heard of making it servicable.

Do a search you'll find all the parts numbers on how to make it serviceable. Basically replace three u-joints and the centering unit, any driveshaft shop can do it.

Replace the u-joints with Spicer 5-4x or Precision 344 u-joints and Precision 617 centering kit.
Other then the sealed u-joints the drive shaft is a stout unit that is just as good as the high bling replacements.
