Hi all. I'm looking for a set of captive engine mounts for my Discovery 2. I've seen the Blacklisted Engineering and Proud Rhino ones. Let me know if you've got a set to sell me.

Because I've gone through two sets of motor mounts, the most recent of which was less than a year old. While I do think I need to realign the drivetrain to make sure I'm not putting shear stress on the mounts, I'd rather also throw something in there that will keep the motor within a small tolerance even if the bushing fails so that I don't find myself with a smashed up radiator or something like that when I'm out on the trail.

Are you buying genuine or aftermarket replacements? This should not be an issue with the Land Rover units. How do your transmission mounts look?

Visually they look fine but I ordered a new set anyway since I don't think they've ever been replaced. I'm going to have to unbolt them to get the engine mounts lined up, so I'll be prepared for surprises. Buying genuine.

Search the board for the part number for 300tdi mounts. Way cheaper, and lasted a long while longer than normal D2 rubber. And straight up bolt in. I think the rubber was stiffer st least it feltbstiffer.

I know... I know... responding to an old post.
I installed the 300TDI mounts part number NTC9416 since they are easier to find over here and cheaper than the V8 mounts. They fit very well.
After I finish the top end rebuild of my engine I'll comment on the vibration
