Hi all,

After my 2004 D2 V8 sat with a dead battery for about a year, I finally got around to attempting to get it back on the road again. After fitting a new battery, It turns over fine, but no start.

With the key at position 2, there is no sound at the fuel pump, and zero voltage at the connector across the WP & black cables.
Next I powered it directly from another source & confirmed it seems to still run fine.
Then I checked fuse 10, and swapped the relay with another of the yellow color, but still no luck.
Next I ran the ‘special function’ on my diagnostic which allows to switch the fuel pump relay on & off, and it runs the pump fine.
I’ve also removed & reseated all the connectors on the ECU.
The diagnostic shows the inertia switch as ‘set’ (not triggered).

I’m at a bit of a loss now what to try next? Anyone have any other tips to try?

Maybe remove a spark plug and check condition, and for spark, could be fouled out.
