I bought this in 2014 with 85k miles. for $4400 with 85k miles and zero rust. Of course, the rust monsters have attacked in the last six years, but wonder if I could sell for 1/2 that other one at 105k miles.

A D2 sold last week for $20k. No doubt Disco values are going up but there seems to be an ass for every seat on BaT. Don’t get me started about the shitbox tacky Defenders with a n/a diesel going for $50k+

I'm casually looking for a low mile, unfucked or only slightly fucked D1. Would be nice to go the other way for once and work to get it back to 100% stock and then stash it away.

Bill,

I still have an 89k mile '97 SD7. Stock. And yes, it needs paint. It also has a high SD rack. Shoot me a message on facebook if you want to chat about it.

What were the specifications of the SD version? And how many different versions did Land Rover offer there?

I think cloth manual seats and no sunroofs. Of all the ones Ive owned, only the 98 and 99 had the actual stickers

SE seems to be electric seats, sunroofs

LSE was 98 only and had every option except heated windshield. Also had chrome bumpers, door handles, and a different amplifier that drove all the speakers and dual coil woofers

XD are the yellow ones

wood trim seems to be random. My no option manual 97 had the dash trim above the glovebox.

In general SD had cloth - mine actually has leather.

Original Portofino Red which still is in pretty good shape. No sunroofs and original headliner as no roof leaks.

Totally stock. 9D2D3E38-7CFF-44D1-A91E-CDB831C5DFBF.jpeg

93k miles though vs 19k

I have a 99 SD that has leather and power seats, it's just a parts truck now. The biggest give away that you have a SD is the lack of any sunroofs. Cause as we all know, there is no good reason to cut 2 holes in a perfectly good roof.

'97 D1 SD. Leather power seats. No sunroof. It's a salvage title after the last accident, but it's still my baby. Not worth much if I sell it. I don't plan to.
