It was probably a support vehicle for a trek event.I have no intention to sell my XD, and I have a hard time believing it's worth anything north of $10k, but apparently it must be close.

Has anyone ever come across the "Centre Edition"? I looked at one for sale a few years ago, but was new to the Disco game and didn't have any reference to what was special about it. I assume it had something to do with the Land Rover Centres of the '90s, but not sure what specs were unique.

Oh, I thought that was a picture of it. I worked with a guy who had a grey disco and it's vin came up as an XD. What do you think that was all about?I doubt it, since it was just a green D1 for sale privately in Portland. There was no connection to TReK that I could see, but I'll do some digging and see what I can find...

I've never heard of such a beast. I'd be interested to see if anybody has pictures. A quick Google search didn't show any results.
Not sure why a grey one would come up as an XD, but best guess is that the decoder has it incorrect. Ironically, when I use online VIN decoders, my XD shows up as an SD, which is what it's based on.
