Discovery 1 PS Pump Leak

1998 D1 w/ 4.0 engine. Power steering pump is leaking at a part that connects the pump to the large-diameter hose that runs to the reservoir (see attached photos). Is this part (I don’t know its name) removable and re-sealable? If so, whats its name, how do I remove it, and what replacement part do I need?

I already purchased replacement hoses, then realized that it’s not a hose that is leaking (so far as I can tell).

I’d say clean everything very thoroughly and change all the hoses. In my experience, it is very hard to pinpoint such leaks until you know you do not have leaking hoses and everything is clean. i recently changed all the hoses on mine and eliminated almost all leaking and found a small leak a the input shaft seal. The biggest leak was at the connection of the hoses to the reservoir.

I don’t know if that part you show in the photos is normally removable.

I haven't messed with this in many years, but I recall that fitting is press fit. The Chevy pump swap was popular way back when, but it came with a straight fitting (I think). So if you couldn't make that work, you swap it out for the LR fitting.

For that fitting connection especially, I would use a high quality hose clamp. One with a solid band and a lot of clamping surface area. It’s not high pressure but does always want to leak and make a mess.
