Distributor wiring

I got the engine in my 110, it's out of a 91 RRC so I have some changes I need to make

I went from a points set up to electronic ignition from a 91 RRC.

1. What needs to be hooked to the 3 connectors on the distributor and in what order? I'm assuming a positive and negative but which connection and what do I hook to the last one.

2. The current coil is a resistor coil, do I need to swap that out as well?

Then I have to sort out the alternator wiring, and extend it to the other side of the engine bay.

Mine dizzy looks the same....has 3 prongs, but only the outside two head to the coil. Nothing in the middle. But there is also a male connector on the screw (by your 3-prong) that serves as a ground.

Hope that helps.

Do you know which posts the wires head to on the coil?

I'm assuming that one heads to each side on the coil but which wires head to which?

It was an AB dizzy that came with instructions so they may be able to tell you for sure. I can take a look tomorrow to see how I marked it.

save some money, you need a JPT connector and terminals.

1 is ground, one is +12V, and the other goes to the - terminal on the coil. You should probably run the +12v to the + side of the coil and feed the 12v there. That is how they do it from the factory.

that's the first one that google showed. bulk supplier though, min pin order of 2300 and min plug order of 10. Mouser sells the stuff, but there website takes more time to go through.

here is a kit http://www.efiexpress.com/catalog/p...id=62&osCsid=2108ebd3789e5c5731198d98c11486d0

I'll trade you the valve covers for your marks adapters :D

They are just stock old rover valve covers that I cleaned up and painted.
