Does your D1 have a plastic battery tray liner?

Every car I've owned, with the exception of my two D1's, has had some sort of battery tray liner that the battery rests on. Obviously my trucks have passed through many hands and these components have disappeared. Does anyone have an image or source for what I assume is the battery tray liner (items 5 or 6)? Cannot believe Land Rover would delivery these things without something there.

Believe it, mate. None of my D1’s ever came with a plastic battery tray either. Never heard of them having one either.

Wow thanks for the responses everyone. I'm genuinely shocked by this. No wonder our battery trays/front wings rust out!

I have a fist size hole in my 96‘s battery tray, through the inner fender, but I dont think it has anything to do with a lack of a tray. It came from Kentucky... I won’t buy another one from there. My two 98’s barely have surface rust anywhere but both came from the southwest.

I have two of them and both have rust underneath where the battery sits. Same spot as the cruise control vacuum pump but on the RH side.

I hit mine with spray paint every few years from where the battery rubs. Autozone has close enough color matching for this activity

now out of the 5 Ive owned 0 had the battery clamp.

and it looks like 5 and 6 are replacement sheetmetal in that pic
