Why should you not need an ID to prove you are casting your vote and no one else is casting your vote? Secondly, why would you not want an ID? I can think of any number of reasons why every citizen should have one.
Totally agree.

I don't understand why this is a point of contention. If you're too incompetent, apathetic, lazy, or shady to simply get an ID, that's probably a good barometer of your voting "fitness". I don't shed a tear for anyone in that predicament.

That being said, Trump grew up with a silver spoon up his ass. People from wealth like that aren't raised like normal people. It would not surprise me if he's never bought his own groceries his entire life, and has no idea WTF he's talking about in that regard.

You've never been ID'd for using a credit card?
Never. Maybe it comes up more in another state, but I have been around and not seen it. I am not against voter id per se, but there has not been any real evidence of voter fraud around this. It is a fear tactic, if you do not like the results of the vote just cry voter fraud. I have to show ID to vote, no issue for me.

Look at his choice for acting AG, first he is a great guy, then he does not know him really, he says. I have to believe he has some smart folks around him that counsel him on this stuff, but he just says whatever is on the top of his head.

Take any of his speeches, and run it through any of the sites that determine reading level. He speaks like a 5th grader running for class treasurer.

So now we've gone to he's stupid to he speaks like he's stupid. Gotcha.

Rake the little trees, man.

Trump made similar remarks in an interview with Fox News? Chris Wallace scheduled to air on Sunday.

“ I was watching the firemen the other day and they were raking areas, they were raking areas where the fire was right over there,”Trump said in the interview. “And they?re raking trees, little trees like this that are not trees, little bushes that you could see are totally dry. Weeds. And they?re raking them, they?re on fire. That should have been all raked out. You wouldn?t have the fires.”

? And here we are, nameless avatars on the intertard arguing about how he does or doesn't suck and he's President of the United States of America........that speaks volumes.

At some point people just need to get over it and realize it's been two fucking years since he was elected. It's time to move forward.. I don't know one rational person who was still crying two years after Obama was elected...the fucktards and Scott sure but not normal people......

That’s just how Trump talks. No different than Obama saying ‘Um’ ever other sentence. All this grasping at straws leaves one such subject tired.

Looks like you responded.

Let me elaborate.

He is not nearly as smart as you want to believe he is. He proves my point with his words.

Was that simple enough for you or do we need the graphs and charts again?

He is willfully ignorant. And he has access to too much to be so ignorant. He lies more than most, even when there is nothing to gain, and even when it makes him look even more ignorant.

On the back of my credit cards next to my sig I write “see ID”. Pisses me off when some kid doesn’t even bother to check.

What should he have said? Bushes? Small trees? What would make you happy with that interview response?
Something more intelligent than a response from a second grader?

Not complete bullshit that he got advice from Finland?

Maybe he should have just STFU instead of trying to pretend he ?knows more than the professionals??

But, then again, who needs actual knowledge and/experience, right?

Your derangement blocks your rational thought, if you have any left.

On the east coast, in the National Forests, they do controlled burns. Prescribed fire. Mainly to combat forest fires. Lots of other neat benefits that go along with it, but the controlled burns are primarily to control wild fires. Makes sense to me. Doubt this was advice from Finland as we already to it here, just not as much in California. The "professionals" are too busy banning plastic straws to pay attention.
