I have read many threads here and other forums. My issue doesn't seem to be covered, looking for suggestions please.

Passenger side rear door opens from the outside, no problem.
From the inside, it won't open. Its like the child lock is on, but its not. I've flicked the child lock up and down to no avail. The Central locking system pops all the locks up and down but that door, you cannot get out from the inside.

Any suggestions?

**Side note, the drivers door handle takes sometimes two pulls for it to open. Suggestions there too?

Thank you.

Pull the door panel off, the handle is connected via a cable.
check that the cable is functioning, if not it’s probably the little lever it connects to inside the lock actuator

Children lock mechanism is outside door lock box and is not protected against dust. It often can seize as its lever sticks out thru a open hole that is outside from door seal. Tailgate is the same case, but there is a rubber block covering hole to protect this. Try to spray great quantity of WD40 while moving it a couple of minutes, it usually works again

Hello all - for anyone's future reference. This issue turned out to be that the cable (Thanks Logan_Gibson!) from the door latch came off the little green plastic bit right behind the handle. The fix was pretty easy. Thanks all!
