My 1993 RRC SWB needs new window trim pieces: the part that clips onto the window sill and sandwiches the sliding glass on all 4 doors - fuzzy on the glass side, rubber squeegee on the outside.

Is this part interchangeable with the trim piece on a Discovery 1?

The name of the part is "waist seal" or "waist rail seal."
Looks like all but the rears for the LWB are near-unobtanium.

FWIW, part numbers for 4-door Classics:

front doors: MXC8014 (right hand), MXC8015 (left hand)
rear doors SWB: MXC8016 (right hand), MXC8017 (left hand)
rear doors LWB: ALR4463 (right hand), ALR4464 (left hand).

Thanks, Peter, that is helpful. I may just need to do some trial and error research on my own trucks to see if there is compatibility. If not, I think I know where there is a small seam of unobtanium to prospect.

Looks like the corresponding part numbers for the Discovery 1 are:

Front left: BTR9255
Front right: BTR9256
Rear right: ASR2524
Rear left: ASR2525

Some other numbers that pop up as well are:
AWR5995 (rear left)
AWR5996 (rear right)

I have-not seen a D1 up close in along time, but drove one for 16 years. To me my LWB looks decidedly different, and the door trim panel where it meets the glass is different too.

The rear windows between a D1 and LWB are different. I'll report back on the D1-SWB comparison. The mirrors are different and that might be just enough to prevent interchangeability, but I'll find out.
