Dreaded M&S lights with no crank

1st check the ground at the drivers rear head. It is a common cause of M&S light flashing as the car uses the Ebrake cable to ground if that strap is broken or missing. This will usually not cause a cranking issue but slow cranking and M&S lights to flash once started. eventually it just melts the ebrake cable to the casing.

2nd check the harness for continuity pin to pin from the xyz switch to the connector in the center consul. they are know to have breaks in the wires above the tcase. I had one i could not even see with the harness out of the car. i had to split the loom open to find the break. that said check continuity first to verify before pulling it.
