What is the approximate cost of an engine swap from a 4.0 to a 4.6 for a 2000 D2. Assuming that a parts car is available so nothing would need top be bought. Are there any compentant shops in NJ that could do this?

You increase the stroke making it 4.6 liters.parsonsjunior said:No, it's still only 4 litres of displacement; but the rest your your probably right about.
