No knowledge myself, but listening to others they are on par with owning any other British vehicle of the same age, lots of similarities with Rovers. A neighbor had a few, loved them but daily drove a Honda.

The long time standing “comment” is you need to own 3:

1 to currently drive
1 to have in reserve when that one stops running
1 that already is in the shop getting repaired

Repeat as necessary.

As ukoffroad mentioned like owning any other British vehicle of that era. Being a Jag parts will be expensive and finding a good mechanic tough.

Started looking into these a few years ago. The idea of the same V12 as the old XJR prototypes is pretty awesome but they seem like basket cases. V12 is a nightmare, electrical issues and inboard rear brakes are cherry on to

Odd Question on a Land Rover forum- you should ask over on the Jaguar forum- I bet you'll get a hell of a lot more detailed responses... just sayin'

Not really at least on this site. Jags share many of the same electrical components that early Rovers use. True that a Jag forum may have more specific info yet the general info on many vehicles one can get here is really good.

Plus, we’re British auto enthusiasts.
