I don't get the horror comment. Many a people like that gun. Or is that why?

Harkening back to the great Gen 1 vs all other Gen discussion that may have been more vitriolic than even our absurd Trump thread; believe it was also one of the convos about tactical lights.

As far as the Gen3 G19 goes for real; fantastic pistol. Just works. Mind you I still view pistols as something you use to get to a long gun but if you have to have one, it's a great choice.

When looking at many of these expensive pistols I'm reminded of these wise words written many years ago by our fellow ass-hole in arms, Kyle..

Fancy or not, so long as you don't get attached, there's not a problem.

I didn't buy that Sig to topple Canada; I bought it because I thought it was kind of neat.

I am enjoying my 80% lower G19, the grip is rather nice-but then again I liked my regular (Gen 3, the horror) G19 grip with the bicycle innertube upgrade so I'm obviously low class.

I also realize that saying that my glock works just fine is totally not a sexy/unique option.

If you like it, that's all that matters. Nothing wrong with a Glock. This is more about what you're enjoying right now than it is about the coolest, most unique firearm.

What I want to build next is an AR pistol that takes glock mags...just to see if it is a fun as it looks like it would be. More a time on hand issue than resources at the moment though.

I've got a Kel-Tec SUB-2000 that takes Glock mags, but it's certainly no AR.

Something like that might give you an idea of what it's like to use something rather like a sub-gun without auto capabilities. I personally find it a little pointless beyond carrying cheaper ammunition for a little plinking in a field. A carbine makes a touch more sense than a semi-auto sub, though.

The AR might be entertaining, at the very least.

I'll sell the SUB-2000 below market, though, if you want to give it a shot. It's not doing me much good over here.

Cheers,

Favorite has to be HK P7M8 or M13. But I've really been enjoying 1911s lately.

Appreciate the offer, sadly I'm in much the same boat at the moment (not a lot of 'spare' time thus none of my guns are doing me a lot of good at the moment), so I'll hold off for the time being since my wife would rightly point out that Rover parts have primacy at the moment.

Something about AR ergonomics compells me...though what I really want is AR ergonomics with MP5 style curved mags...so I guess I really want an MPX or if QC10 ever gets their MP5 lower into production...of course it would need to be surpressed...

Let me return back to not having time!
