That's one of those vehicles that seems like a great idea on paper, but I suspect maintenance and support infrastructure would be out of the realm of possibility for most who can actually afford it. The 4X4 Squared line is very cool, but when they go flat AMG like that, it's for the UAE almost exclusively.
It's perfect for those guys, though. They actually do use the hell out of what they buy, and don't care how much money it costs to fix. They're genuine enthusiasts.
These are factors people encounter when buying a HMMWV or deuce and a half. It's fun... Until it's not. At that point, they often realize that they are simply not equipped to repair or fully maintain the vehicle.
I don't think I'd actually buy one of those 6X6 units. They feel... Different;
very different. They're absolute monsters, but it'll never really shrink around you. The normal 4X4 squared G isn't too far out of line, but portals are still an extra pain that's not really required.
Those are really for long days and months crawling around logging trails and idiot-proofing military vehicles. Much respect to that beast, but I don't think I'd want it in my cage.
This is a different story:
I'd buy the ever-living
fuck out of that wagon.
Cheers,
Kennith
