There is always some discrepancy with these things. Says they work on things and then find out you need adapters, dongles, cords, unlock codes, VIN unlocks. Can you tell I am frustrated? I have almost pulled the trigger on several systems, nanocom, hawkeye, etc, but always stopped because the price got too high to do what I wanted.

Now that the rant is over, what are the gotchas with this one for a P38 and a D1?

"need adapters, dongles, cords, unlock codes, VIN unlocks" None of those, thankfully. It supports the P38's systems, Bosch & GEMS, but not D1 GEMS. I don't see why not. It's just not on the list of supported vehicles. Their ECUs are nearly identical and it may work but I don't have a D1 to test.

The NT510 has 2 options, Power Bleed and Modulator Bleed. I've used both on my Disco 2.

I have one of these I bought from ECS for a 2009 MINI I no longer have, but im holding onto it just in case I ever get another obdII Rover. I should just be able to buy the unlock code/ download the data for it to work on a Rover correct?
FYI it worked great for the MINI

Yes. If you have Mini/BMW/Rolls Royce software already on your Foxwell, you pay an additional $60 (?) to download the Land Rover/Jaguar software for it.
I think you can add up to 5 car manufacturers on the Foxwell NT510, NT520 and NT530.

That's a steal at $100!!!!!
I'll ask my British buddies to see if they want me to buy it for them since I have a US mailing address while in the UK.
