Front drive shaft removal

I can't figure out how to rotate it. Putting the trans in neutral isn't helping. What's the trick? Still have 2 bolts to remove.

47.15.02 makes it seem like it doesn't need rotating but I have no clue how you do it without rotating it.

Only 1. I don't have a 2 or 4 post lift.

Pretty sure I spin the one front wheel in the air to rotate the driveshaft while underneath it.

I usually put the truck in neutral and push it one way or another a couple of feet.

If your transmission is in Neutral, not Park if it's an automatic, and the center diff lock is off, it should turn.
Remember to chock the rest of the wheels....

Correct, most do not. Put it in neutral and spin by hand.

That did it. Old one out. New one greased and in.

The old one has zircs on the u-joints but not the shaft. The new one has a zirc on the shaft. Is that the only real difference?

The upgraded front prop shafts for the Disco 2 have 5 zerk/grease fittings. if yours have 5 then you are good to go.
