My front drivers side brake pads wear down extremely fast. curious what folks on here think it might be due to. The rotors looks OK and were changed not that long ago. My guess is a bad passenger side caliper causing the drivers side to do double time, but wanted to get the discoweb opinion.

Check the caliper slides, make sure it's able to float back and forth freely. Sounds like one of the slides has seized. Any noise coming from that side when you're not depressing the brake? It helps to drive with the windows down next to a wall or something, lets the sound bounce back at you.

It will be a caliper but it could be either one. The other side could be not working and the drivers side is doing all the work. Or the drivers side could be dragging and leaving the brakes applied even when your foot off the pedal.
