Some really great fly fishing this time of year up on the South Fork of the Snake River in Eastern Idaho. Brown, Cutthroat, and Rainbow trout are abundant, with plenty of hatches and fish takin both underneath the surface and coming to feed right on the surface (for dry-flying).
Henry's Fork is another great section, within view of the Grand Teton Range just south of the Continental Divide. Stone flys (read: huge stone flys) are famous here, and the Rainbow trout easily clear 22".
Henry's Lake in Island Park also holds some fantastic fishing if you are more the lake fishing type. There are quite a few reservoirs and smaller lakes teeming with kokanee, lake trout, among others. Then, of course, you can fish the parks (Yellowstone and Grand Teton) and take a short trip up to the Madison River in Montana.
Fishing is religion around these parts!
