Grand Canyon Camping

Anyone have any tips on camping the Grand Canyon? I hear the North Rim is better to camp at then the South Rim.

Much better is all I can say. Less traffic and a great view. Toroweap is where we stayed for a few days and the view when you wake up is awesome.

One of the best ways to camp the GC is to take a rafting trip through it.

the north rim is great!! very few people and the scenery is pretty much pristine. lots of good places to explore and climb down into parts of the canyon.

I agree with what everyone else said - the North Rim is a much more natural setting. I think the statistic is that it gets less than 10% of the visitors?
