greaseable tie rods

There are some OEM suppliers with compatible rod ends that can be greased, but originals are lasting 100K+ miles for most folks, that seems to be pretty good and well within expectations.

I replaced the whole track rod assembly on my D2, one track rod end is crimped on anyway, only one joint is replaceable. Drag link also changed, and it's fairly cheap in the UK, $100 for the complete track rod and drag link assemblies.

I'll try and find some part numbers for greasable track rod ends.

That Rockware drag link is D1 and Defender only, and then you have to change other parts as well.

Just check before you lay out those $$$'s, the standard rod is fine for most driving, it's the track rod that gets bent, and then you have to go some to do that.
