Aloha,
Been doing incremental upgrades on a 03 D2. Came across a modified grille with a light in it. I am not talking bout the LED pods on the left but the grille and light on the right.
Does anyone know where I might find this?

i'd like to see what the whole front looks like...not sure if that location would be beneficial to light up the road ahead.

I would love to see the complete setup as well. I have only seen this one image though. Nothing else that I can find online. Reckon that the bulb in that grille light may be able to be swapped out with a projector type T10.

So where did you find that pic? Did you try a search with Tineye?

It looks like a Disco1 with Disco2 lamps. None of the panels line up. The grill is custom 1 off shit most likely. Just get a bunch of led lights off Amazon and drill some holes.

That grille looks even more restrictive than the stock one, if that's possible.
How?
The stock one is terrible and if I am calculating the open space ratio its close 40% open. This one would be nearer to 50%.

I have only been measuring as I notice this truck gets pretty hot even on short drives. The average temps here are mid to upper 70s and in the summer we get into the 90s. Swapping out all the hoses systematically for silicone. Adding the 180 degree gray thermostat and installing an engine monitoring system to check all this data. What else might you suggest to get more air flow and or cooling?

What about silicone hoses? How does facebook feel about those?
Been lookin for a good bottom hose for years, Looks like you can find all the other hoses in silicon but not that bottom one. Closest match was a UK one that used Stainless steel tees for the branches off the main run. Looked like hell with about a million hose clamps to put it together. Facebook was not pleased.. A very sad day indeed.
