Just Picked up a Mossberg Maverick 88 Security on Guns.com. Anyone here used them? Good, bad luck?

And I don't want to hear any shitheads tell me I should have gone with the Benelli M4. Not made of money.

I just starting purchasing on gunbroker.com. Transactions have all been warm & fuzzy.

Gunbroker has some good deals on ammo. Just bought 400 rounds of .45 for about $1.18 per round. You can get even lower per round if you go up to about a thousand rounds. I can't believe I'm saying $1.18 for range ammo is a good deal. WTF

Chris Rock had a bit saying the easiest path to gun control and crime reduction is to make bullets cost $5000 a piece :p

Why are they so expensive now? Is there a cigarette-like tax on them or something?

I believe people stock piled during lockdowns. And no one is shooting. Simple supply problem. I got 1000 rounds of 7.62/.308 and haven’t had time to go shooting so I’m part of the problem I guess.

I've been buying AR's like Biden is going to ban them. Not sure what I'm going to do with them. Ammo is eating me alive when I find it.

Anyone messed with these AR12's? Such a shitty tool, but I like the idea.

If you can find decent priced/quality 5.56 you are lucky right now. I ended up buying a ton last month and paid almost double what I did a year ago.
I just picked up a Typhoon X12 Defense Semi Auto 12 Gauge.... very impressive gun.

I got a great price on a compact 9mm XD. I've been practicing with it a lot lately. I put a mattress up and drew the outline of a person on it and practice every day drawing the pistol and throwing it at the outline. Because at these prices and availability that may be all it's ever used for. Hell I even look into reloading supplies and it's just as bad.

The Maverick 88 will be fine.

Practice and remember that at down-the-hallway distance the pattern will barely cover a paper plate. So, remember to aim. :)

I'm sure it will be fine. Was in the market for the Remington 870 Marine Magnum (18) but could not find one anywhere new. I know why, just thought I'd run across some dumb luck.
