Hella FF700's

Anyone have any complaints about Hella FF770's versus Hella Rallye 500's? Pep Boys price is only $6 difference.

They're supposed to be replacements for the Rallye 1000.

I'm very happy with my 1000s, if that helps.
For an extra $6, you get a bigger light.
Size matters. Seem like a no brainer.

700's are thicker base and seem sturdier. I just bought some yesterday.

I was reading a car mag article about the new Nissan GTR and I was thinking how fucking butt-ugly that car is. And it's body style reminded me of something but I couldn't quite put my finger on it......then I was at a stoplight behind a Cobalt the other day and that was it....the GTR looks like a Cobalt.

yeah it was totaled. I am driving a 99 disco. its not white and i'm okay with that, but i have to wash it every week or it looks like shit.

That's the purplish-blue color. I am driving a '98 DI in that color right now. I have not washed it in months. I live on a gravel road and it's useless to try and keep it clean. The unkept and dirty look goes along with my bad ass teeter totter image.
Once I get the rad, ps pump and new springs on the white '99, I will be rockin' it again. I do miss the white. It's my formal "night out" truck.

never owned the 1000's

and i haven't lit-up these 700's yet. Got em mounted for looks and have to order the switches from EE today, will have them running this weekend.

and for what its worth my cobalt had these kind of lights.

Hook up each light individually with a "carbon fiber look" toggle switch on your overhead console. Think of how cool you'd look flipping up six toggle covers to switch on your big round lights on the roof and bumper.

I'm not sure its possible to look cooler than I already am , but you make a good point.

I've seen a few trucks done up nicely with the toggle switches. I rarely stick to driving just one truck, so the thought of wiring up all of them the same makes me want to shit my pants. One day I will make one my DD and be done with it. I'd love the Series to be that, but it will be sporting the canvas 24/7.

I just like the "boop, boop, boop Captain Kirk" look of the toggles.
