Help with Front window not working right

Rick, you're going to have to give more details for anyone to help. Where did you measure 12v? On the connector to the motor? What pins? Did you check fuses? Did you check the switch? If you un-bolt the window from the regulator arm, does it move freely?

The switches can be taken apart and cleaned - they tend to get quite a bit of crap inside over the years - have done this to a few of mine.

Haven't looked at the motors, but i would bet they are the same as a GM or Ford part with a bit of checking.

Even if they aren't, used ones are cheap and plentiful from DiscoWeb's favorite parts vendors.

I've replaced the window regulator, switches are good, window moves freely, 12 volts coming from the wires to the motor.

D1 or D2? Driver (left) or passenger (right) side?

Put 12v of power on it directly. could be a window ECU

Well, regardless of voltage, it also sounds like the window is sticking in the guides, if it goes up then stops then up, etc.
So get a can of silicone spray and spray it up and down in the guides, wipe off the excess juice.
May not be the ultimate cure, but will help and put less of a load on the motor.
Probably why window motors fail sooner than later.
