Netjaws was ahead of his time. Every new dashboard looks like his Disco from back in the day. I don’t remember him being hostile as much as just crazy. And while his modifications were stupid, he wasn’t out there giving flat out wrong advice and begging companies to finance his “SEMA rig” like the dances with cheese guy. His “rig” was just his import 90 that he was going to park outside the show. In the parking lot. With all the other cars from Hertz and Avis.

Didn't DAP sponsor him?
I think so. If I remember him and Steve Young were pretty tight. Like tampons.
Edit. Just did a quick search for DAP. They don't appear to have a web site anymore, only facebook. Every part I bought from them was shit. Mostly bushings that didn't last and a set of Procomp shocks that I took off after about 2k miles with, you guessed it, bad bushings.

Looks like a shop bought the name maybe, they seem to have posts more about repairs. I know it was for sale for a while. Steve Young, that is a name I have not seen in a long time. Is he the guy that brought a gun to an event, unsecured in his truck?

The restoration shop really took over from the parts side from what I understand there at DAP. I even think Al had to come back to unfuck everything that was done there from my understanding.
Yes Steve brought a sidearm to MAR the same year he flipped his freelander in the puddle. what a cluster that turned out to be. He felt that as a "event marshal" he should be armed I guess. The pic i have somewhere of the event he had it strapped to his side.
Last I heard he was a service advisor at a Chevy dealership up there in Vermont.
