I need a solid heater shower for camping. Not a solar shower, but one that would be used every other day that would be used several times each time.

I've used the Zodi two burner in the past, but I like the Zodi Outback (Extreme). Simple, no batteries and appears to hold pressure well. Not to mention the burner could be used for cooking.

I am estimating about 2 gallons a person for showers. We've got a total of 10 people on the first 5 day trip. Future groups will be a little larger.

Anyone have any experience with the either one of those or the Camp Chef varieties long term?

Gonna be in the desert quite a bit this fall and next Spring and I need to stay fresh as a daisy.

TIA.

I have the Zodi. Great shower and even in the upper 30's and low 40's it heats up pretty quick. Like you said, the burner can be used to cook. I usually use it to make coffee in the morning.
Nothing's nicer than a clean ass after a few days of camping.

These are similar to what is installed in Toyhaulers, and they seem to be able to keep up until your water supply is empty. Although that advertisement makes it sound even better than sliced bread.

I haven't seen the Mr Heater showers since Overland Expo, but they worked very well serving the campers.

I think I will stick with the Zodi Outback. I thought about those little heaters that you linked to for the ToyHaulers, but the Zodi is just damn simple.

I'm headed to the desert in a in two weeks and it's gonna get chilly. I need to smell nice for all that tatted up fellas.

Pooping will be done in the sand Mike. Though I know the German's like to do it on each others chests.

On the Zodi, order a spare shower head. The one on mine broke for no apparent reason between trips but then again, I am pretty hard on shower heads.
Nothing beats a clean taint when camping.

Ordered last night, will arrive Wednesday with Amazon Prime. I will try and pick up before I have everything shipped out to CA with trucks this weekend. Need to make a playlist to get everyone in the mood too. Hope I don't get pregnant.

Those CCT guys are pretty legit. I've worked with Orange team and some other mobility groups with CCT guys and they are squared away dudes. Assume PJs are too.

Two days without a shower and I get pissy. Two days without a mocha and I get REALLY pissy. Add both and well I freak the fuck out.
