RAVE doesn't show this - tried just pulling straight up - but there is a connection point at the bottom with some body work. Trying to replace my hood release cable.

What needs to be removed to get the grill off (besides the three screws on top)?

From memory a few years ago;
Remove the screws on top of the grill, three I think
Reach in at the front corner near the side marker lights and pull the holder spring out of the hole
Release the side marker lights and either move them out of the way or disconnect them
Underneath where the side marker lights were are a screw or 2, remove those to remove the trim just below the headlight
That trim piece locks into the front grill at the base of the grill
You can now pull the grill out by tiling the top away from the vehicle and lifting the bottom out of the holes the pegs are mounted in.
Installation is the reverse of removal

This is close, feel free to adjust or correct for posterity.

For those that need it - that is exactly right! Have to remove the side lights to get to the screw holding the bottom trim piece, which is what is holding the grill in place after the top three screws are removed. Super easy.
