"I must soon quit the scene"- Benjamin Franklin to George Washington 1780 So, I have sold the junk yard. Lots of things came together at once and I decided it was time for me to move on to something else. I have been selling Rover parts for 17 years now and its been an adventure to say the least. I have enjoyed dealing with a lot of you and will enjoy no longer having to deal with some of you. One of my employees has bought the shop and is going to keep everything running the same (maybe better?) The facebook page will be maintained and the email addresses and shop phone aren't changing either. I'll still lurk around Rover pages, degenerates like you all aren't a dime a dozen. I wish you all the best and hope your Rovers run forever. -Marty

Marty, don't go too far. Absent your wit the humor in this place can be like a high school locker room. At least when you're here it's like a locker room with a literate nerdy kid. And I mean that as a compliment, noting my favorite use of your Shakespearean references.

My LR3's transmission is a fond remembrance of your service, unless it craps out, then I'll hunt you down like a mangey dog.

Congrats and good luck on the next chapter of your life!

PS - What are you going to do now? Staying in OH/moving? New business venture?

I'm moving but staying in Kentucky. Not sure what my next move will be, right now I am getting a dozen rental houses ready to sell. I told my wife I am going to go apprentice as a butcher, because no one expects a butcher to be friendly. Doesn't matter how pretty the marbling on the steak is, there is an understanding that we are dealing in death.

You should buy a mortuary. After dealing with dead Land Rovers it should be a shoe in. Just don't sell body parts.
