I did the swap a few years ago. You need a clock/hazard light combo from a 95 RRC since it's the only one that fits a Disco. The wiring is straightforward but slightly different. I think you connect one less wire. Its on the web somewhere, but it’s easy and worth it.

OK -thanks for that - so 95 year only? Wow - kind of a needle in a haystack but I will keep my eyes open!

@Frobisher is spot on about the 1995 RRC compatibility. I did this swap in my D1 a couple years ago, I prefer the analog feel. I bought mine on ebay, found the wiring diagram somewhere online. Pretty easy substitution. Probably worth starting the search with the usual suspects - Will Tillery, Roverland Parts, Paul Grant, PT Schram, etc.
