I ordered this kit and i thought it was supposed to come with a dummy ignition module. Can someone verify if I need one or can it be installed without it? I know the old one AB used to sell had a dummy module. Thanks!257637DB-1206-452E-89CA-2188DE4A410F.jpeg

Where did you get that kit, and what connector is at the end of the cable? Perhaps that connects to the Distributor pins, negating the need for a dummy module?

I think AB stopped selling STC1856 IAM relocation kit, because Autoelectrical Spares stopped making it. A quick search reveals no one selling it?!

It has a 2 pin connector at the end of the cable. I bought it online from Powerspark in the UK. See the picture.

It looks like that may connect directly to the Distributor, exactly where the dummy Module would connect. Did you check this?

I can check mine when I get to the garage later...
