Hey everyone, its been awhile! I have an issue with my power steering at idle/low revs.

When parallel parking, the force used to turn the wheel has increased significantly over the past 3 months concluding last night having 0 power steering. At speed, i have no issues...yet.

Per Rave:
Fluid Level is Correct
No Leaks
Belt Tension is Good
Power Steering System Test - Cannot be performed due to not having the specified equipment
Cant bypass steering box using adapter tap LRT-57-001 - Do not have this tool

I have a new Power Steering Pump I can throw on but have no idea if its Power Steering Pump or Steering Box thats the issue. Would rather not start throwing parts at it if thats not the issue.

On especially cold mornings, there is a slight squeal but goes away within a second or 2.

Since I cant carry out the pressure test per the Rave, any other tricks up your sleeves that I try out first before I start replacing parts?

Other items to note:
Belt Tensioner is new within the last 2 years (time flies, holy crap)
New Belt already fitted

Thanks!
Rob

Have you checked the joints in the steering shaft? I had some hard steering last year, sprayed lubricant on the 2 joints on the shaft, been good since then.
