ipod integration

whats the best way to link my ipod to the lr3? the aux plug on the wrong side of the center console is a bit weird, and doesnt charge the player.

There's been a lot of discussion on that topic on other forums. The general consensus seems to suggest the relatively cheap Belkin cradle thing as the best for sound quality and volume.

I do not have any personal experience with it either way.

I just figured TeKarma would have checked by now. It's been out for over a month at the local dealers. it's expensive, and according to reports on other forums, doesn't work all that great, or at least, not any better than the significantly cheaper Belkin unit. Something about the line in volume not being very high.

I found it at an online stereo store for $169, but nwoods is correct because it does not seem to be worth the money. Ford is going down the path of digital audio integration in its automobile, so hopefully the LR3 will have a USB port soon.

Te_Karma, if you still care about an overview of the LR Audio Connectivity Module, I posted one (with pics) on a different forum:

It's on my Sport, but the module, location of cradle, USB port, etc. are identical in the LR3.
