I’m pulling the B/W out of my 94 LWB and I have two different (era) LT-230’s that I could use.

1 87’RRC. 80k (my tuck sacrificed itself for me 12yrs ago. I recovered it.
2 98 Disco I. 139K. Donor vehicle from a buddy w/blown motor...road queen, no off-roading.

I’m partial to the 87 because of mileage.
The 97 has had all the updates (to that point) and would almost plug into the lwb.

pics of serials and ratio......suggestions.

I stand to be corrected, but a B/W is a left outlet transfer case while an LT230 is right outlet.....

If so, then you may be on a road to nowhere. You will definitely need a front diff and a rear diff, BUT the fuel tank may be in the way if the original is a B/W vehicle.

make sure the tail shaft of your zf has the long splines. the (37d) is going to be the quieter of the 2. You also need the mounts, linkage and a d1 driveshaft.

One is a 1.2 and the other is a 1.4, so the only thing that really matters is how large a tire are you are going to run. Under 31" i'd lean towards the 1.2. Over that and i'd go with the 1.4. If you do use the 1.2, I suggest removing the locking solenoid on top before installing. Also the parking brake mounting holes may not be quite the same depending on which one you use, so you'll have to drill a couple or swap the rear output piece. Or just use the parking brake that comes with the 1.2
