The last one I saw was in 2005, so figured why not start a new thread talking about knives.

Just put in an order at Lucky 8 for a SOG Twitch II. Saw one yesterday and just had to have one.

this one isn't too too old. I just got a new edge put on my knife I posted in that thread. The tally before I had it sharpened by the guy was 4 does, 1 caped buck, about 100 ducks/geese, no telling how much general use.

I have a collection of about 350ish folding/pocket knives. My grandfather was a collector and I got into it with him, most all are Schrade Walden but have some old Case knives, and odd balls.

Benchmade...I LOVE the new gold standard ones...just cant spend $1,200 on a knife that i will probably loose :)

But I have had two of the blue standards for sometime now - got my mits on the 3300 Infidel - REALLY NICE!!!!!

I am a spyderco fanatic - i have a Manix II sprint run with blue g10 handles and a cageball lock. I havent been able to find a better blade and have carried it everyday for the last 18 months.

Once you use the oversized deployment hole you will be hooked!!

I have the Spiderco Mariner...actually found it on a boat I bought, all rusted to shit, there is still a stain in the shape of it on the fiberglass in the hold I PRIED it from! And to say I love that knife is an understatement. I spent hours getting it looking better, sharpening it etc....now you just see pit marks, can read the lettering and it is awesome!

BTW - it has the full saw tooth blade - My smith sharpener took care of that nicely.

I prefer to carry a multitool - currently use a SOG powerlock something or other.

I have a leatherman wave thats been mine for the last 6 or so years, not in my EDC but I love the thing

Anyone have an opinion on Emerson knives? I am looking to get a CQC-7 in the near future and am curious if they are worth the money. Thanks!

Just ordered another Benchmade, you guys got me thinking I needd another one!!!! ..... Griptillian custom made, pretty cool how you can order everything about the knife and customize it...incl getting the best quality steel.....dunno when I will get it - backordered - but jeez a "custom" knife for $150 from Benchmade is an awesome deal...

I got the modified sheepsfoot in black blade - with yellow grip ... got the high viz one as it will be used on fishing trips is my guess :)

I actually have 3 older Spyderco's.

1 Spyderco C47 S Stainless Endura II - barely used
1 Spyderco First Generation Endura C10SBK with box - used but still holds an edge
1 Spyderco First Generation Endura C10SBK - very used and needs sent in for resharpening

I also have the original diamond sharpmaker set too.

Are these worth anything to anyone? They are just taking up drawer space at my house.

At your mom's
Carried a SOG Twitch 2 for a couple of years.
I know where it is, it's been laying on the ground somewhere on a 500 acre agricultural / sand mine near Ravenna since November 23, 2010.

I need to get another. I loved the quick opening, it took an edge well and stayed sharp. The clip loosened up and needed to be tightened a few times. I think that's what caused it to drop off. Locktite on the next one.

I've got a boat load of knives and have been into knives since I was a kid (48 now). Spent most of my adult life in the military and I have to say that to date this is my favorite of all time knife. It most definitely is a great survival tool. It feels more like a good gun than a knife. It just has that feel.

Benchmade Nib Cub II.

Always with me now and a CRKT Bear Claw is usually within my grab area.

The Nib Cub is a fantastic knife (I enjoy the knife much more than any others I own or have owned), but the sheath stinks.
