Everything started to happen to the disco, first it was a bad ground causing it to not work properly, then it fixed itself then the engine started to shut itself out at idle, and to sound like a crapy old truck, so I took it to the shop, fixed the exhaust leak, ( now it purrs like a cat) ordered the brake pads and the rotors from tire rack for all of the corners, got the right part numbers , but once trying to install them they would not fit, did not have the holes for the abs, so only pads were installed, performed a tune up, and the knoking sound almost disapeared completely only sound for the first 2 minutes then it disapears, could this be lifters problem? and if it is how har are they to get to? are they at the top of the engine when you put it appart? may be valves? thank you for lisening(reading) I feel better already after venting a little, any help is appreciated...Cheers
