I had my machine shop make up some oil drain plugs for the M62 crank case. This is the crankcase drain plug for the BMW 4.4 liter V8.
It has a 19mm head on it and the thickness has been beefed up so you will no longer strip the head off of the OEM drain plug.
Drain Plug
These retail for $15 each and will be the last time you will need to replace the drain plug. They are made from 4140 alloy steel and are yellow zinc plated
just like the OEM drain plugs.
