HiLifts can be useful, if you have a place on the vehicle to use them. Most do not have real lift points. I have used mine for more odd stuff, breaking the bead on a tire, lifting part of a tree, etc.

I had a highlift jack for my D2 and I hauled that damn thing with me for years and never used it. It didn’t fit on the damn backpack rack that KVT made either. The studs on the rack that were made to fit the highlift were off by maybe a quarter inch. Sold it as brand new never used.

I had a highlift jack. I used it to kill my first wife because she was cheating on me and running through money. I sold it as slightly used.

People like Bill Burke and Garrett Porderfield made me feel like I needed a Hi-Lift Jack. Finally, I won a jack at an event in NC as part of their raffle. Of all places, it was a Steve Young era door prize from DAP. I've still got it! I used it once to jack up a chicken coop to put a cinder block under it. Thank you Steve Young!
