Aloha,

Does anyone know if the leather seat covers from an L322 or an 06 Range Rover would fit the LR3?

I have the opportunity to buy a complete set and mine are in rough condition.

What options would someone have outside of finding the original leather seats then?
I have seen them, but one seat base leather was $450 on Ebay.

I have considered that idea, but the quotes I was getting were in excess of $2000 for the repairs.

I empathize with your increased lack of resources based on being in hawaii.

You're on Oahu though... Surely there's some part outs in Facebook and Craigslist classifieds now and then?

Ummm Errrr No.

In fact, its one thing to get parts here with extraordinary shipping rates and then a whole other issue to have anything done to any Land Rover. There just ins’t the love for Land Rovers here that there may be elsewhere.

We have 1 dealership here and they are complete thieve. Then thee are the few Indy mechanic, I’m counting like 3 maybe 4 on Oahu and even them you will very quickly realize are not exactly top notch. I just had the D2 sent back to one shop 3 times because the mechanic did not repair the valve cover gaskets properly at an $810 bill.

Living here is lovely, but getting anything done is another story.,

Tug, If I could do that I would in a heartbeat.
Maybe that would be a long term goal for me, say when we live in a home and not a Condo where the people here go bananas as I am working on the truck in the garage.

Those Knightsbridge seat covers aren’t baggy once installed and used for a bit. I’ve had them on 2 vehicles now...a 2004 D2 and my 2013 LR4.

I am now seriously considering taking the leathers off and sending them to LSeat as a template.

Has anyone done this, taken the seat leather off the seat? Not just covered the seat.

LSeat would be the only place I have seen so far with a custom fit leather cover for the LR3-LR4.

Went to nearby Golden Upholstery. I was quoted $1000 for both front seat bases, one second row seat base and the headliner to all be redone.

Completely worth my trip, thanks for suggesting it.
